The Catechism of the Catholic Church states, “The Christian home is the place where children receive the first proclamation of the faith. For this reason, the family home is rightly called ‘the domestic church,’ a community of grace and prayer, a school of human virtues and Christian charity.” (1666) In order to support the domestic church in the families of our own community, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton offers our Mothers’ Day Out on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9am – 2pm. Our goals are:
- To allow those with young children to find the time to nurture themselves, whether spiritually, intellectually, or physically in order to return to their families refreshed and rejuvenated.
- To provide children with a happy, safe and secure environment that mirrors God’s love.
We hope through this ministry to better equip our families to serve as a first school of Christian life and a school for human enrichment.
Our staff members are dedicated to the love and care of your children. Each is trained in Infant and Child CPR and First Aid. We strive to maintain a healthy and safe environment that fosters the social, emotional and physical development of your child. We are blessed to be a part of this ministry of the church and thank you for the opportunity to share in your child’s life.
